A heritage day to remember. My First live cooking experience at Max's Lifestyle was indeed a flavorful experience.

Heritage Day recognises and celebrates the cultural wealth of our nation. As South Africans, we celebrate this day by remembering the diverse cultural heritage of our nation.

Various events are staged throughout the country to commemorate this day. This heritage day I cooked for a live audience at one of Durban’s best township restaurants – Max’s Lifestyle. I had an opportunity to take people through a culinary township experience at Max’s Lifestyle. It was so fun highlighting Durban flavors to the audience.

Preparing meals should be so much more than just food. It is about family, community, sharing, and often a celebration. It was such an honor to celebrate Heritage Day at the Durban Business Fair event.
