Butter Chicken Curry
One of the most popular curries, aromatic golden chicken pieces in an incredible creamy curry sauce. My butter chicken curry is creamy and full of flavor.

Ingredients
For the chicken marinade:
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
- 1 kg chicken breasts cut into chunks
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon graham masala
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ plain yogurt
Method
Step 1
- Heat a large skillet or medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the oil, butter, and onions and cook onions down until lightly golden, about 3-4 minutes. Add ginger and garlic and let cook for 30 seconds, stirring so it doesn’t burn.
STEP2
- Add the chicken, tomato paste, and spices. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until everything is cooked through
STEP 3.
- Add the heavy cream and plain yogurt. Simmer for 8-10 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve over Basmati rice.
